"Ephemeral Selves: A System That Forgets You" is an experimental thesis project exploring immersive art through a UX-driven approach. The project investigates identity as a temporary condition, where interaction becomes a sign of existence and presence. The system forgets the user the moment they stand still, defining a space in which one is remembered or erased based on movement. Ephemeral Selves explores movement as interaction through an invisible interface: no buttons, no instructions, and no explicit call to “move to activate.” Action itself becomes the interface, echoing the idea that “action is the antidote to despair” (Joan Baez). Through spatial design and experiential systems, the project examines how participation, presence, and meaning emerge from continuous engagement.
